Isabel Lopez
Executive Director

Isabel Lopez is the Executive Director of NestQuest Houston. She is responsible for the development of standardized procedures, maintaining NestQuest’s financial position, maintaining communications with community partners, and strategic planning to ensure that NestQuest meets points of success. Isabel has over 9 years of Housing Choice Voucher experience, with a focus on staff and case management.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

April Finch
Outreach & Community Education Director

April is the Outreach and Community Education Director at NestQuest Houston. She is responsible for building relationships with new community partners, NestQuest's digital footprint and communicating the importance of increasing voucher mobility to the greater public. Combined, April has over seven years’ experience in outreach and communications for non-profits and educational institutions in both the Houston community and abroad. 

As a non-native Houstonian, she loves spending her time outside of work exploring the city and enjoying all the amazing restaurants in the area!

Dav Lewis
Founder, Second Chances.Life

Dav Lewis is the proud founder of 2nd Chances.Life. The organization is focused on reducing recidivism in our communities one person at a time using a holistic approach (involving the community). As a board member of Nest Quest, Lewis is honored to not only share his passion but vision to provide adequate housing and education for the under-served communities. 

Timika Simmons
CEO, TOMAGWA Healthcare Ministries

Timika Simmons is the Chief Executive Officer of TOMAGWA HealthCare Ministries, a Christian based 501c3 non-profit organization with ambulatory care clinics providing multispecialty, diagnostic and patient care home services to uninsured, underinsured citizens of the tri-county areas of northern Harris, Waller and Magnolia Texas. Prior to TOMAGWA, Ms. Simmons spent 25 years in healthcare administration for clinics and hospital systems including Tomball Regional Medical Center and the Houston Methodist Hospital System. Ms. Simmons also spent a brief period working for the Harris County Housing Authority as the Director of Public Affairs. In her spare time, Ms. Simmons continues to support chambers of commerce and community-based organization as a volunteer with an affinity for small business success, economic development, government and legislative affairs.

Sanjay Bapat
Associate Attorney, ABHR LLP

Sanjay Bapat is an Associate Attorney at ABHR, LLP. His practice focuses on public finance, urban development, and local government regulation. Sanjay serves as general counsel and bond counsel to various special purpose districts that provide for the financing and construction of water, sewer, drainage, and road facilities and other development infrastructure. In these capacities, Sanjay represents his clients in public law matters, contract negotiations and preparation, the administration of public meetings, and regulatory compliance. Sanjay also works with private developers to structure development agreements with cities and other local government entities for public participation in commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments. Sanjay further brings to his practice skills previously learned as a mergers and acquisitions lawyer at some of the nation’s premier law firms.

Lindsay Lanagan
Director of Government Relations & Public Affairs, Legacy Community Health

Lindsay Lanagan is the Director of Government Relations & Public Affairs at Legacy Community Health. In her role, Lindsay oversees communications, federal, state, and local government relations for the organization to influence policy at all levels of government.  She gained health care experience working for one of the nation’s largest health care companies, McKesson Specialty Health, where she directed state policy for a twenty-three state region in her role as Senior Manager of State Government Relations. Lindsay previously led the City of Houston’s Intergovernmental Relations office under Mayor Annise Parker, where she oversaw local, state and federal government relations for the largest city in Texas. Prior to the Mayor’s office, Lindsay worked on multiple political campaigns, and served as a staff assistant in a congressional office.
